Super fake package PTSD is real. I thought I bought an authentic LV Weekend Tote GM on eBay, when I opened the box I immediately thought I bought a fake: there was no foil stamping, the bottom did not match the picture, and the "dust bag" was torn and flimsy, but I The handbag I bought at *condup* looks authentic: the hardware, the zippers, and especially the canvas. I sent it back and only got a partial refund, but am glad I don't have a AAA super fake on my hands. I have never bought LV since then.

Meredith, I was a courier for FedEx in the states for 20 Years ( I have since retired )....Never did I ask anyone to show me something they were shipping....! NO, reason to...! I am so sorry this has happened to you..! Keep diligently seeking answers ...packages are tracked by scanners so they know everyone who touched that package/the vehicle it is in and the facility it reaches.... that person should lose their job and be prosecuted if the evidence shows they stole your contents...I always felt it a privilege to work for FedEx knowing that they trusted me and that I could be trusted to pickup and deliver packages everyday for them..without question...! We are (unfortunately) in a new day and age that TRUST is not what it should be...Praying that this has a good outcome for you..!

I think the sense of satisfaction to see the thief gets caught will be so much better than getting your things back, although getting both would be perfect. Stay strong Meredith. The bags are not JUST THINGS. They were part of your life, and it’s ok to mourn for them. In any case, I’m sure the idiot will be caught and you will get your items back!

I’m so sorry that happened to you 😢. Prayers going up for the hopeful return of your handbags/items but most importantly finding the person or people involved with the theft. Any unkind comments about affording designer handbags are people deserving of being stolen from, are examples of not only people that think like that but they’d also be the same ones capable of robbing others.

You should publicise with receipts how much you paid for them. This is so people can be guaranteed a fair pre-owned sale price.

Luxury handbags have a 400x plus mark up. A Dior handbag is manufactured for $86 AUD and sold at retail for $4,181 AUD. Since LVMH own Dior and other luxury bands, this exploitation is across the board. The workers are basically slaves paid a pittance and live at the factories so that operations run 24/7. No benefits, no 8 hours day, no fair wages and no safety. Yes, having your possessions stolen is a horrible experience but in the big picture, luxury fashion houses / brands enslave, exploit and abuse the most vulnerable workers in China, India and Europe.

Pursue this, get a lawyer, private investigator if you need to, this person should be arrested and if indeed it is DHL, they need to compensate you for your great loss. Get this criminal behind bars😡

DHL ,UPS ,FEDEX, AMAZON, ,all off this cars has a cameras inside were all the packages stored. You or your lawyer can ask DHL company for a footage camera from that day when that was happening, it will show who took your package, or who opened your package and took your items. I bet they have now body cameras also. If they are, you can also ask for for footage. I'm so sorry sweetheart:( this time people don't have any shame at all ..

Please be careful. The DHL man knows where you live. Just saying. If he is willing to take your goods so blatantly you don’t know what he is capable. Half these peeps get these jobs because they came out of prison and got a delivery chance.just be aware because your strong sense of justice and being violated may be nothing next to what he might do for being caught. I’m so absolutely sorry this happened to you. You do not deserve this. I agree with everything you’ve said on this subject. No one has a right to take what is not theirs and especially in a professional capacity through a business in which you payed for a service. DHL should want to prosecute for all their customers. If they can’t be trusted they have nothing.

I am so sorry this has happened to you! I hope they go to jail soon! I had a Favorite stollen from UPS right before they were discontinued! It was definitely UPS, since it was going to the Louis Vuitton Store, and they placed a weight in the box so it didn’t raise any suspicion! Again so sorry this has happened! 🤗 big hug!!!

I’m sorry this happened to you. Don’t apologize for the tears! I think it shows just how violating and the trust broken you had in a company you thought was trustworthy. We’re living in a time that stealing is ok or rather companies can write it off, but I don’t think we should be desensitized nor be okay with it either. People do get hurt and it’s costing us more.

I hope you also have cameras outside of your house and inside your purse room. Since the DHL driver knows you own a lot of luxury bags, there’s a chance he could negotiate a ring of people to rob your home. “ Allegedly”, the DHL driver opened your boxes and hand picked certain bags to take then there’s a chance he could try to hit your house, too. Please be careful and I hope he and anyone else involved are caught!!
